This piece captures the duality between feminine and masculine characteristics. Soft dynamic paint strokes and neutral tonal variation creates a soothing composition while the clay chains build sculptural dimension. A bespoke quote rounds out the composition and adds another one of a kind element to this dining room centerpiece.

Working alongside April Tomlin Interiors for this custom piece was such a joy. We customized the colorway using limewash paints from Portola Paints which was a very unique paint medium to work with. It allowed the appearance of an aged softness to the painting that was such a subtle and beautiful detail. The blend of whimsical brushstrokes, sculptural chains, and a quote from the clients’ favorite book creates such a unique and complex composition that has become one of my favorite creations to date.
